Party On

Hello everyone! Last night we had the Rainbow Owl shower and I’ve got to say- I had SO much fun. Here’s a peak… Guests were greeted with this wreath. I made the tiny banners with the leftover scrapbook paper that I had bought to make the toilet paper owls. The nice thing is I still have more left to actually scrapbook with. Hoorah! I placed the invite in the middle of the wreath and used some white flowers that I already owned to accent the wreath. The string is pink with tiny footprints, which I bought at Michaels for $1. If I had to do it over again- I would’ve paid attention to how much string I actually had. The intention was to wrap the wreath more- but alas I ran out. *Note* I did try to hot glue the T.P. owls to the wreath but they did NOT want to stay put. For the living room… I decorated the guests of honor’s chairs with these cute rainbow streamers. We then hung the rainbow owl mobile I made from the ceiling fan and placed this hand-made rainbow wheel table runner on...

AH! I'm soooo excited. I spent some time today and yesterday completing 3 more craft projects for the party. I don't want to give too much away, since I want to save some of the decorating for the actual party blog, but I'll just tell you I got inspiration from here and here and I'm super happy with the results. It's going to be so fun! Anyways, I thought I'd take some time today to cover what we're planning as far as the actual party goes. Games: Stroller Derby Pickle Cards  (Snooki quote title in honor) We have several friends who are not big on *baby shower* games. Eating melted chocolate out of a diaper or changing pudding diapers is not for everyone! I think these games hit the spot. The pickle cards are fun because they're sort of passive, yet fun while the Stroller Derby is more of a trivia based game. I'd take trivia over drinking juice out of a bottle any day, but hey that's just me. Menu: Ham & Cheese Sliders Fruit...
