Party On

Y’all- I’m about to skip over a few days in this week’s photo challenge. Yep- you heard it. I’m going to skip long exposure and “technology” for a bit and bring it back in a week or two. That’s okay though right because 1) there’s more than 28 days in a 30 day challenge so we’ll need extras for that last week and 2) I totally feel horrible. I was talking to my lovely mother this morning, who told me that Kali loves Tinkerbell! I haven’t watched any of the Tinkerbell movies, but I think I have some okay ideas for a fairy princess party. We’ll see what Kali thinks. I would start by decorating the house with some giant flowers. Design Sponge made these huge super-cute flowers but these poster-board flowers look a little easier to be honest. The huge scale should help the kids feel even littler, almost *fairy-like* (I hope). These mini cupcakes would be add to the scale of the party too. I would top the cupcakes with some edible glitter and put the extra golden glitter in these fairy-dust containers. I love how Hostess with the Mostess utilized mushrooms and butterflies for this fairy party . It might be fun for Kali and her friends to paint their own little mushrooms, but I’m leaning more towards butterflies myself.
