We’ve finished the desk! I was hoping to give you a before and after this weekend. Here was the before… And here is the after… Ahhh isn’t that knob so much better?? I put up my bird picture holder just so I can have something on the desk for now. We haven’t touched the wall paint yet so our paintings and mirrors aren’t up. I needed something to look at for now y’all. I seriously can’t tell you how comfy that chair is. I’m glad we had some leftover gold paint from the bathroom remodel (saved us $5). I feel like it ties the chair in and makes the wicker baskets pop. I probably should’ve removed the existing backboard in order to get a really smooth surface, but I actually kind of like the divots. Gives it some character. Overall the desk cost me $83 $15 for a quart of green paint at Home Depot $25 on baskets from Michael's $5 knob from Home Depot $48 for the desk from Salvation Army Hey- not too bad.
