Shopaholic

Today I got to do one of the thing I love most- shop. I also got to eat at Zaxby’s which is up there on the list. Anyhow- as Natasha’s wedding is now 15 days away (!!!) I took to the streets to shop for the remaining items on her list. After 4 hours and 6 shops, I came away with some treasures. Let me start by pointing out these lovely vintage toasting glasses. Oh my goodness I love them to death. I found them at The Cottage Consignment which seriously is one of the most adorable stores I’ve ever been to. It’s filled with antiques and modern day gifts. Not only that but it’s linked to this great smelling café. Have I mentioned how nice the staff is? Because they are and they’re really helpful. They actually had a huge selection of glasses and the price wasn’t bad at all. I got this pair for $65 with tax included Natasha is wanting the church alter to have candles only so I’m hoping these all white candles hit the spot. Which set up do you like better? And so it begins…

Hey everyone! I’m sorry I haven’t posted since Monday. I’ve been super busy and then super lazy once I get home from work. I’m so glad I get a break next week (okay-Wednesday, but still that’s less than 7 days). I met with my lovely bride today and started getting a feel for the wedding and I’ve got to say, I’m SO excited. To be honest with you I’ve got enough ideas already for 10+ blog posts already. Her dream is to have a classic, vintage, Parisian wedding with tons of roses, lace, satin, pearls, and mercury glass. She wants to keep the colors neutral and has her bridesmaids ordering these adorable dresses from J.Crew . She’s also in love with this arrangement and set up on the right, and I can’t say I blame her. I’m in love myself. Since Natasha loves mercury glass, but hasn’t begun collecting items for the reception yet, I went straight to work.
