Hellooooo Fall

It’s almost October! This morning I bought some pureed pumpkin to make some fall treats and tonight we’re going to decorate the yard for Halloween. I can not wait. I just love October. We’ve been fairly busy this week. We started a new schedule at work which was…interesting. Some of the change was better (fewer clients to document on), some of it was worse (more to do, essentially). Today we headed to the TACA fair and of course only bought food. I think that’s all I ever buy there. We got some Blackberry syrup and organic popcorn butter from the Amish booth. Mmmmmm. Then we headed to pick up the mugs I decorated for my co-workers. One is supposed to be Dwight from the Office (not my best work- remind me never to try to do a person again) and the other is Grumpy Cat. I seriously find that one to be hilarious. Funny how they both resonate with grumpy characters! After that we went out to lunch at Olive Garden before heading to run errands and grab some Halloween décor for the yard.

This week in baby news…

Good morning! Well, now afternoon. This post comes to you while Optimus is lying on my lap. I think he knows his lap time is limited. Baby Belcher is now 24 weeks and 3 days along.  We had our checkup this past Tuesday and everything is still looking good! It was our first appointment where we weren’t able to see him, so that was a little sad, but next time we should get a peek. I have to do my glucose test and I am NOT excited about it. At least it will be over quickly. Here’s me representing the Broncos! I know they aren’t playing today, but I have to work tomorrow and this does not meet business casual standards. I’m trying to convince Eli in utero to be a Broncos fan. We’ll see if they win him over, as you know he’ll get plenty of push from his daddy to be a Titan’s fan.             Eli is now officially “viable” so that takes some stress off. I’ve been having some anxiety that I’ll hurt him somehow because I cannot stop sleeping on my back. I fall asleep on my side, but alm

It’s a Mad World

Hey everyone! I hope you’ve had a great day so far. We had a wonderful Saturday morning brunching with friends and having Eli’s first baby shower!! Oh my goodness I had so much fun. We brunched at Mad Donna’s (I had biscuits & gravy and French onion soup) with my lovely co-workers, who spoiled Eli, and subsequently us, to the max. I can not believe how generous people are!  Here’s a few pics… Seriously, check out that haul! We got some hilarious books including I Want My Hat Back and Mr. Tiger Goes Wild . They are so good I would read them just to lol And that pacifier? It’s Bass Pro Shop. Yea, my male co-worked is looking out for Eli. I seriously loved everything we got, but this shark set has a special place in my heart. How cute is that??  My coworkers suggest having him wear it during his first viewing of Sharknado . Hilarious. Oh! We also had some amazzzzing cupcakes from Ivey Cake. I’ve got to admit, I’m munching on one while I type. Not pictured? We bought Eli a

S is for Sunday

Another week has gone by! Time is fly-ing. I missed blogging last week, as Josh and I were in Tybee Island living the life. Seriously, it was so much fun. I haven’t felt that relaxed in a long time. We went to the Georgia Aquarium , ate the best crab of my life at The Crab Shack (highly recommended, even if you don’t like crab. They have live gators! Yeehaw.), took a trolley ghost tour in Savannah with Ghosts and Gravestones , munched with Paula Deen (just kidding) at The Lady and Sons , lounged on the beach, and Josh sampled some local beers at the Savannah Craft Brew Fest . I would call that my “baby-moon”, but we’re trying to have another get-away to Chattanooga in late October. I’m a lucky, spoiled girl. We have our next appointment for Eli in 9 days, so I have no real updates on him, other than he’s alive and building up his quads and biceps with vigorous exercise. We’ve been having it pretty good. Of course there are the not so pleasant effects of being pregnant (mostly pain)
