Oh the traffic is horrific

Well, we were supposed to have been in Wyoming for  2  4 days now but the weather has prevented any sort of progress there so here we are. Saturday we got up at 4 am, drove to the airport, waited for tickets for 45 minutes, waited in security for 45 minutes, got on the delayed plane and waited for 30 minutes before they told us to get off because Denver couldn't accept any planes until noon. Then we got off the plane and waited for about an hour to get new tickets for the 19th, got our luggage and drove back home. It was about 7-8 hours of waiting for nothing. THEN on the 18th we got a message that our rescheduled flight had also been cancelled. There's two types of packers. There's the ones who grab a few pieces of clothing the day of and probably forgot something (mom), and there's those of us who clean the whole house, update the baby books, wash the sheets, update the budget, etc. I'm the latter. So imagine doing that 3xs in one week. Blah. We're still tr

The Weather Outside is Frightful

I've been extra spoiled lately. Josh only has to work three days this week and we had two wonderful family Christmases. Josh got me a really awesome camera for Christmas and we got each other a Tuft and Needle bed which is one of the best decisions we've made. I haven't woken up with back pain since we switched, even though I go to bed with pain almost every day because of carrying around my big children. I decided to video our Christmas morning, so we don't have any pictures, but we did know our children well. Eli's favorite toys are his Code-a-pillar and his anteater vacuum (lol!). He also really likes his astronaut rocket lamp he got at our extended family Christmas, which I'm not sure who it was from--I was feeding Anias and everything got jumbled in my mind, but he does really love it! Anias wasn't cognizant of it at all so it didn't really matter, but he got lots of adorable things which I'm sure he'll appreciate in a bit. My favorite t

Tis' the Season to be Jolly

I'm writing most of this while my hubby plays his Nintendo NES Classic. I totally scored big with that birthday present, but I may not see him much for the next week or so while he's filled with nostalgia. I've got so much to do anyhow. From now until we leave for Wyoming I have 3  2 more photo sessions, two family Christmases, and errands galore. I'm planning two events while I'm in Wyoming and doing at least 1 if not 2 sessions there as well. So let me see... I've been able to add back tomato sauce  (nope- wrong) into my diet, and a little ice cream too! Still no milk though. The medicine (and growth?) has helped a lot, but Anias definitely is cranky from about 4-8pm every day now. He gets his second dose at 7:30 so it makes me wonder if he's just getting too big for the dosage to be as effective. I've lost 30 pounds now, with 20 to go, and I'm on track to lose all that 50 lb baby weight by the time he reaches 9 months, which is my goal. I'
